Hi, I’m Sabitha Shankar. As a Registered Therapeutic Counsellor, Certified Yoga Therapist, Reiki Master, and Ayurvedic Nutritionist, I bring my heart and passion for holistic healing into every session. My journey into this work began with a deep desire to support others in finding balance, resilience, and joy in their lives, just as I’ve worked to find them in my own.
Life can feel overwhelming at times, whether you’re navigating anxiety, grief, trauma, or major life transitions. I understand how important it is to have a safe space where you can feel seen, heard, and supported without judgment. That’s the space I aim to create for you.
With over 500 hours of yoga therapy training, I integrate trauma-informed practices, Yoga Nidra, Pranayama, and mindfulness into my counselling approach. These practices help calm the nervous system, release stored tension, and foster a sense of grounding and safety. My background in Ayurveda allows me to offer guidance on nutrition and lifestyle, tailored to support your unique needs and overall well-being.
In addition to therapeutic counselling, I bring the gentle power of Reiki and energy healing into our work, helping to restore balance and harmony on a deeper level. These holistic tools complement traditional therapy, providing a truly integrative approach to healing.
